Lucinda France-Hayhurst

T: 01244323070  |  lucinda@stjohnsbuildings.co.uk

Lucinda is a barrister specialising in family and court of protection matters. Her family practice covers a range of sensitive and complex issues in private law disputes involving children and separating couples, as well as public law matters where local authorities have a part to play. Her court of protection practice involves welfare and financial decisions made in the interests of a person who lacks capacity.

Lucinda believes fervently in the benefits of alternative dispute resolution. She is also an accredited civil mediator. She is committed to assisting parties to use creative ways to resolve their disputes in a time and cost effective way.

As a barrister, Lucinda has a very busy practice and travels extensively for court throughout England and Wales. With an undergraduate degree in French and Italian and a keen interest in foreign languages, she is equipped to arbitrate in matters with an international element.

If parties prefer, Lucinda is fully conversant with most video platforms and can arrange for your arbitration to take place remotely. In-person arbitrations can also be arranged through her clerks at St Johns Buildings Chambers (please see link to website and contact telephone number).

At home, Lucinda spends her time chasing after her three small boys. She loves the sea and, whenever possible, escapes to snowy peaks.
