Marina’s practice covers all areas of family law work with a focus on the financial consequences of divorce/dissolution and disputes involving children (including Schedule 1 provision, abduction and relocation cases). She is has a particular interest in cases with a foreign dimension and is often instructed to represent French speaking clients.

Marina has been recommended as a junior in Chambers & Partners since 2011. In 2014 Marina was named as one of the Lawyer Magazine’s “Hot 100” (the only barrister amongst the three family practitioners), as a “Rising Star” in the Spears Wealth Index and was shortlisted for the Jordan’s Family Law Junior Barrister of the Year. The most recent edition of Chambers & Partners describes her as  “a star of the future… approachable and tenacious, and has a good manner with clients.”

Marina has a long-standing interest in alternative methods of dispute resolution, having studied ADR with Professor Dame Hazel Genn at UCL. She has represented clients at a number of arbitration hearings.
