Katherine is a barrister practising out of 1 Hare Court with over 18 years of experience specialising in matrimonial finance.

She is ranked as a Leading Junior by Chambers & Partners (Band 1), Legal 500 (Band 3), and Doyle’s Guide (Preeminent) where she is variously described as “supremely bright, user-friendly and engaging”, “one of the foremost senior juniors of the Family Division”, and “a Silk in the making”.

Katherine is committed to and has much experience in ADR. She is a qualified mediator and has been recognised for her work as a private FDR evaluator, for which the Legal 500 describes her as “brilliant with a deep knowledge of the law and she combines her unassuming but effective advocacy with a humanity which makes her a pleasure to work with. She is sensitive to clients’ needs and she is an outstanding private FDR Judge.”

Katherine read Jurisprudence at Christ Church, University of Oxford and then for an LLM at Emmanuel College, University of Cambridge. She was the recipient of major Bar Course and Pupillage scholarships from Lincoln’s Inn, and the Pegasus Scholarship to Washington DC from the Inner Temple.

Katherine has been a contributing author to Rayden & Jackson on Relationship Breakdown, Finances and Children and she lectures widely.
