Mr Nicholas Wilkinson

T: 07713634231  |  wilkinson@1hc.com

Nicholas is highly regarded in the Chambers & Partners legal directory as a Band 1 rated leading junior.

With 26 reported decisions, he has been instructed in the biggest and most complex cases in the Family Division, involving immunity and international issues, company valuations, illiquid and multifaceted corporate structures, tax, trusts, media, privilege and wealth in the billions.

Since 2023, he has represented members of 4 ruling families, as sole counsel against KCs in 2 of them. He represented Princess Haya of Jordan, following the breakdown of her marriage to the ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed, in what has been said to be the most far-reaching litigation ever seen by the Family Division.

Nicholas was Equality and Diversity Officer for 7 years, was awarded Highly Commended Family Law Junior Barrister of the Year at the Family Law Awards 2022 and has a particular interest in how Narcissistic Personality Disorders may impact on family law (having been interviewed for a 3-part podcast on the subject).

Nicholas is very much in favour of finding a swift and cost-effective resolution to cases, regardless of the level of the assets and complexity.

He is always on top of the detail and will provide a carefully considered, reasoned and ultimately fair decision.
