I am a family Barrister at 1 Crown Office Row specialising in public and private law children. In private law I have represented parents in a wide range of cases concerning applications for child arrangements orders, specific issue orders and prohibited steps orders. I have experience in internal and international relocation cases and I have also dealt with many applications involving schooling and specific issues in respect of medical treatment and religion. I have been instructed in many cases involving same-sex parents, surrogacy, assisted reproduction and questions relating to parental responsibility.

I have a lot of experience representing vulnerable clients and those with additional needs and neurodiversity and where the subject children may also have additional needs and vulnerabilities.

I am a compassionate person with excellent communication skills and I believe the Arbitration process can bring certainty and clarity to issues affecting families where swift resolution is in everyone’s interests. I offer facilities at my chambers in Brighton and I can also conduct Arbitrations online or at alternative venues across the UK.
