I am a specialist Family Law Silk and Joint Head of Chambers at 1 Garden Court, a leading Family Law set in the Temple, London. I practice across a broad spectrum of Family Law work, including most aspects of family finance. I have undertaken many cases with a international aspect, have been called to the Bar in Bermuda for the purposes of a Supreme Court hearing there and have conducted private FDR hearings in Jersey and elsewhere. My practice at the Bar also encompasses many aspects of private and public law children work. I am often instructed in leave to remove applications and other children issues with an international dimension. I also undertake other private law cases involving welfare decisions about children. With the increase in alternative families, I also have acquired expertise in issues relating to modern families. As a part-time judge (Recorder since 2000) I have gained significant experience as a judge and have received regula r judicial training in both finance and children work. I am a committee member of the Family Law Bar Association and a member of the Bar Council’s Law Reform Committee. I have a reasonable working knowledge of French, German, Italian and Modern Greek.
