Elissa Da Costa-Waldman is well known for her sensible and practical approach to matrimonial financial disputes, being adept at dealing with such disputes where there are issues involving a business as well as the family home.

Elissa is also very experienced in Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustee Act 1996 claims  between formerly cohabiting couples, both heterosexual and homosexual.  She is a contributor to Resolution’s Cohabitation book having written the chapter on Trust Law.

Liz Cowell has specialised in divorce and family cases for more than 30 years, acting as partner at some of Manchester’s most prolific law firms.

Liz also represents clients from across the UK, in addition to foreign residents and those who own property overseas. I am a consultant in the family law team at Mills & Reeve. I deal with all types of family law – divorce, financial issues, children disputes, pre-nuptial and post nuptial agreements, civil partnership disputes and many of my cases have a foreign element.
